ROAR EXPANSIVE CEMENTis the alternative to conventional explosives and rock drilling machines, being safer and often more economical for many jobs than these.

When explosives cannot be usedfor safety reasons, it is an ideal alternative, especially in situations where there are buildings nearby and other works to prevent them from being affected by shock waves, projections, and dust that explosions would cause.

ROAR EXPANSIVE CEMENTis mixed with cold water (in summer never above 12 degrees) and reacts chemically causing agreat expansive tension.More than 8000 TM is more than enough to demolish any type of stone.

ROAR EXPANSIVE CEMENT(CER is a demolition agent, anexpansive demolition agent., it has been used without incidents and withgreat resultsby thousands of owners ofquarries, contractors and homeownersaround the world. The ROAR EXPANSIVE CEMENT(REC)is used to break, cut and demolish stone and concreteavoiding excessive material costs.

ADVANTAGES

Engineers and architects are increasingly demanding thisSAFE technologyin places where explosives cannot be used.

No noise or vibrations:

Hydraulic hammers or “pica pica” often cannot access the demolition site, they produceannoying vibrationsand it is a slower andless economicalmethod than ROAR expansive cement.

Economical:

The harder the stone, the more economical it is tobreak with expansive cement than with pneumatic hammers or chisels. The latter are left for cleaning and debris removal. romper con cemento expansivo que con martillo neumáticos o picadores. Quedando estos últimos a funciones de limpieza y desescombro.

Simple Roardrill steps

1.PERFORA

2.MEZCLA

3.RELLENA

4.ESPERA

1 – Perfora (con martillo o máquina perforadora)

Holes must be drilled to allow a free face for the ROAR EXPANSIVE CEMENT to push. For example, drilling at a 45º angle on a flat surface will push it upwards, but drilling straight down may not allow any pressure release.

2 – Mezcla y Rellena
  • Mustbe thoroughly mixedwithclean, cold water before use, in a ratio of 30% of the total weight.
  • Put the necessary amount of water,1.2 – 1.5 litres of waterforeach 5 Kg bag of cement, in a long container and then gradually add the powder to the water, stirring continuously to obtain a smooth, lump-free mixture.
  • Ensure there is no water or debris in the holesor use a pressurised air hose to clean them.
  • Mix well and pour the contents into the holescarefully to avoid the formation of bubbles in the holes.
  • Pour the mixture into the holes gentlyso that noair bubblesform inside the holes.
  • IMPORTANT:The mixturemust be poured within five minutes after mixingwith water.

In summer, the best time touse ROAR EXPANSIVE CEMENT is in the morningwhen the material temperature is low. A high material temperature can cause a blowout. Cover the holes to avoid direct sunlight. For example, using a tarpaulin. You can put some ice in the water and then mix it with the ROAR EXPANSIVE CEMENT.

For best results, it is important to take into account the air and the temperature of the material. The temperature of the material is the temperature inside the stone or cement, which may be different from the air temperature.DO NOT GUESS

use a thermometer to know the temperature of the hole.

EXAMPLES OF ROAR EXPANSIVE CEMENT APPLICATION

We present different examples of how Roar expansive cement works

  • Urban Excavations (attached to formwork)
  • In quarries: Clean cuts, no debris, no micro-cracks and economical
  • Available for industrial use and for private plots
  • Clean cuts along the drilling line
  • After waiting a few hours, the first cracks appear
  • Final result, safe cuts
